Tree Top Walk
Beneath the trees of the MacRitchie Nature Trail, we came upon mud and monkeys, ferns and fuzzy caterpillars, large leaves and bitty bugs. Atop the trees, we perched ourselves upon a tinny walkway held by metallic cords knitted into briny knots. It swayed ever so slightly – yet, un-precariously, despite the efforts of human forces – against the affable breeze. We walked approximately eleven out of the anticipated seven kilometers that morning. Because we kind of sort of got lost.
